Patterns, tessellations and shapes - students explore their properties in this module. Using math and code, they learn to create programs that draw N-sided polygons with the touch of a finger. Merge STEM into STEAM with some simple modifications that provide the opportunity to create fantastic work of abstract art using shapes. Students will learn the similarities and differences between common shapes, have an early introduction to concepts such as angles, and apply their knowledge of angle exteriors and interiors across shapes such as rectangles, triangles, circles, and polygons.
