In this research area, students will delve into the world of Minecraft and learn how programming can alter and change the world around them. Using the intuitive Microsoft MakeCode editor, students will be able to create structures from simple houses to the Great Pyramids.
Students will be able to appreciate working on their programs in the Code Builder, and seeing the fruits of their labour appear right in front of their eyes. They will implement past and newly-learnt knowledge including conditions, loops, coordinates to help them automate processes and building to alter their world in fast and efficient ways.
Note: This course must be attended in-person. Minecraft Education Accounts will be provided for students during the lessons.
